Membership

Membership to Sunderland Rifle club is open. If you are interested in becoming a member of Sunderland Rifle Club, or would like to come along and see what we have to offer,  please contact the club via the contact page.  Please indicate what shooting discipline you are interested in and complete your contact details.   You will be contacted and invited to attend when members are shooting that discipline.

If you are a beginner you do not need a firearms certificate to attend the club – you will be able to try the club rifles under the supervision of an experienced member.  All new members will receive instruction on range discipline and weapons safety.

Those who wish to progress in the sport will need to obtain a firearms certificate to enable them to purchase their own rifle(s) and hold their own ammunition.  The club can help you with this process.

You do not need a firearms certificate to possess and use air weapons.
